Founder, Marc Glover, started building furniture as a teenager, turning early passion into a cabinetry business that steadily grew through word-of-mouth and a commitment to quality. Today, Marwood Design serves homeowners across the state of Utah with custom cabinetry and full design-build solutions, backed by a team of nearly 30 employees.
Growth didn’t come without challenges. As demand increased, so did the need for space, equipment, and operational efficiency. In 2023, Marc made a pivotal move, expanding into a larger facility to support long-term production and team growth. To make that leap, he leveraged a Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 loan in partnership with Hillcrest Bank, a Division of NBH, securing $3.9 million to purchase land and a new building. It was an investment that created the foundation for continued success.
By 2024, Marwood Design reached over $6.4 million in annual sales while strengthening operations and reinvesting in advanced manufacturing processes. The business emerged more efficient, more resilient, and better positioned for the future.
